I can't even believe it's 2014! I know everyone says that, and I really do say that every year... 2013 was an eventful year for us! Lots of up and downs, big events and life changes both expected and not. Here's a review: (not in order)
-We started January 2013 off praying for a baby :)
-Little did we know was that in January we conceived our first baby, Penny!
-In 2013 we conceived our first 2 children, and still don't have a baby to hold! (yet)
-On April 17th we Penny was born
-Throughout the year we learned what it looked like after you lose a child, how you trust God, and how you are happy again
-We (pretty much) finished re-doing our house. Projects we conquered in 2013 were... the kitchen cabinets getting repainted, the counter and floor getting painted, the extra bedroom carpet tear-out and getting painted, our headboard, our living room/dining room/entry way paint, this also entailed all the base boards and trim throughout the house pretty much
-We found a new home for our dog Marley
-We had (i think) 3 (maybe 4) roomates
-I started my own business with Thirty One gifts
-Jordan got a motorcycle
-We paid off my car
-I went to Thirty One's national conference in Atlanta, Georgia (For FREE I might add)
-Jordan lifted lots of weights
-Jordan completed Fire school! Woohoo!
-I added a new garden bed for vegetables and re-did the gardens around the house
-We went on a week long trip to Gatlinburg, TN with our good friends Nikie and Drew
-I went to 1 silent weekend and didn't speak a word for the the whole weekend
-Jordan and I both started new job this year-him at a hospital doing 911 calls for that area and me and a college, interpreting
-Jordan has his picture in a local newspaper!
-We made the switch to all homemade laundry soap
-We went on lots of hikes
-I made lots of gifts and crafts
-We went to the most weddings this year compared to any other year!
-We celebrated 2 years by eating at the restaurant that catered our wedding
-I've been pregnant the entire year besides 2 months. I'm finishing the year off at 27 weeks pregnant with Raegan.
-We grew stronger in our faith
-We learned to love each other better- and are still trying to be the best husband and the best wife to one another
