My solution for our country's debt problem

Ok, so I should tell you that I sometimes think about things and come up with theories about them. Sometimes I just play out different scenarios and see how they would span out in my head. I'm sure I'm not the only one who does this! I sometimes tell Jordan my theories and he most of the time just tells me I'm crazy. And to be honest some  most of these said theories are pretty cooky.

My latest one is a good one though, so good that I wanted to tell you about it :)

Also, another disclaimer, I am my no means an expert when it comes to government things. I've taken a few gov. classes and watched several documentaries and they really interest me but still...

Our government is in debt, like drowning in debt. It's crazy! I was thinking about that, and just trying to think of why, and also trying to be a super hero and think of how to fix it, ya know as if that's not what we elect people for. So here are my grand thoughts:

Who is making our budget? Politicians. Right, so that's great. What's wrong with that? Politicians are rich!! So rich that I would be pretty confident betting that they have never had to actually make and stick to a budget in their home life. So how do we expect them to make and stick to a budget when it pertains to our country's money? Obviously we can't.

My solution: We need someone with experience in the field, who is great at cleaning up messes, great at picking up after people and pulling it all together by the time the days through. Someone who can't just give up and close up shop. Someone who can't give up when the crap has literally hit the fan. We need to get a couponing, money savvy, penny pinching mom in there. I know some pretty awesome stay at home moms who run a pretty tight ship in their homesteads. And make it work on some pretty tight budgets. Since we can't just print more money to get us out of debt this is the only solution.

The problem, you need to have some mad cash to get into offices like that. I can still wish though...
